brother, Dr. C.E. Chapman preceded her in death.

Marjorie or "Margie" was a bright child and received her education in the San Antonio,
Texas Public School system, graduating from Jefferson High School in June, 1956. She
then attended San Antonio College and Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where
she received her Bachelor of Science Education, June 1, 1959. She later received her
Master of Education at the University of Southern Mississippi on May 18, 1978.

Margie began her teaching career in San Antonio, Texas at Knox Elementary. She
subsequently taught various grades from Grade 1-8 in Texas, Virginia and Mississippi
serving as teacher, Assistant Principal and reading specialist, finally returning
to Texas and Hays County Texas ISD where she retired in 1997 with 31 years in
      Education.

Margie was married to Marshall E. Jennings, a Civil Engineer, in San Antonio, Texas
on September 2, 1960. Margie was baptized into Christ early in her life and was a
faithful Christian all her life, attending Churches of Christ with her husband and

      Rowan Jennings.

Margie was a loving mother and grandmother and adored her family more than words
can express. She always put others ahead of self obeying the teaching of Jesus that
it is more blessed to give than to receive. Daughter-in-Law, Kim recalls that Margie
was a wonderful mother-in-law to her and Ronda, always encouraging and inclusive, a
good listener, understanding and a real joy to be around.

Margie and Marshall Jennings enjoyed a long, loving marriage and celebrated their 60th
Wedding Anniversary on September 2, 2020.On the day of their anniversary, Marshall wrote "My Darling Margie, when I think of our love and life together these 60 years, my heart
soars! Happy Anniversary, Love Always, Your Marshall."

According to Marshall, Margie possessed a thousand dimensions of a loving internal
beauty that expressed itself in a sweet personality, always helpful and giving to
others, filled with thanksgiving for God's blessings. In Mississippi, Margie was
active in Women's Club and was State Club woman in 1980. She taught Bible Class for

Margie, with her husband, loved musicals and classical music and she played the piano.
She loved to get in to the car and travel with her husband and boys. With her husband,
she visited all 50 states and traveled internationally. As both sons reached Eagle
Scout, she joined her husband as Co-Leader of a Coed Explorer Post in Science and
