Mr. Vaughan E. Coker, 78, 119 Hillview Dr. died August 23rd. Life resident of San Antonio and member of Coker United Methodist Church. Mr. Coker was the son of the late James Marion Coker and Olive Capps Coker and was retired City of San Antonio Meat Inspector R.S. Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Gladys C. Weaver; sister, Mrs. Bertha Coker Jones; brothers, Carlton S. Coker, James Evert Coker; grandson, Lonnie H. Weaver, Jr. all of San Antonio; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Services 10.a.m. Sat., Aug. 25th Coker United Methodist Church with Rev. G. Robert Grimes officiating. Interment Coker Methodist Cemetery.
