Mr. Julius H. DeKunder, 74 of Rt. 10, Box 428 (Jones – Maltsberger Rd.) died in a local hospital May 30. He was a life resident of San Antonio. Member Coker Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. May F. DeKunder; son, Henry J. DeKunder; daughter, Mrs. Clarence Gerfers; mother, Mrs. Josephine DeKunder; brother, Arthur DeKunder, sisters, Mrs. Mary Olivera, Mrs. Hattie Grote, all of San Antonio, Mrs. Minnie Backhaus, New Braunfels; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services, 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, Coker Methodist Church with Rev. Milford Zirkel, Jr. officiating. Interment Coker Cemetery. Pallbearers: Floyd Grote, Edwin DeKunder, Emil Backhaus, David Lynch Jr., Willie Alberts, and Roy Schriewer. Friends may make contributions to Coker Methodist Church in memory of the deceased if they so desire. Arrangements by
