Elsie Mecke Pipes, age 89, of San Antonio died Friday, December 22, 1989. She was a lifetime resident of San Antonio and member of Laurel Heights United Methodist Church and the Grandmother’s Club. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Pipes Roueche of San Antonio; son, Richard L. Pipes and Wife, Joyce of Pleasanton, Texas; six grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 26, 1989 at 10:00 A.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive, with Steve Raby officiating. Interment will follow at Coker Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the charity of your choice.
